In this week’s Microsoft IT news, we have some exciting updates regarding three important news items: 1. Microsoft Teams: Voicemail recorded custom greetings migration update – Microsoft is migrating recorded custom greetings for Microsoft Teams voicemail to a new storage location. Default greetings will be played for users who haven’t received any voicemail in over six months. The migration will begin in May 2024. No action is required, but users can still migrate their custom greetings in March and April 2024. 2. Microsoft Search: New Content source filters in All vertical – Users with multiple content sources in Microsoft Search will soon see content source filters in the All vertical. This will allow users to filter search results based on content sources like SharePoint, Power BI, Viva Learning, and Graph Connector content sources. The rollout will begin in mid-March 2024. 3. Control your activity notifications from the activity card – Users will be able to control what shows in their activity feed by clicking on the ellipsis from the activity card. This will help users stay on top of the information that matters most to them. The rollout will begin in mid-January 2024.
