I’m Jens Kofod. I help organizations make AI and process technology work for real people, on real timelines, with real budgets.

By day I’m a Senior Solution Engineer at Microsoft Denmark, focused on AI agents, Copilot Studio, and the Power Platform. Before Microsoft I spent close to two decades in consulting and customer-side roles, doing the unglamorous middle of digital transformation: stakeholder alignment, process design, data models, the migrations nobody puts on a slide.

What I’m working on right now

  • Customer-facing AI agents that need to authenticate Danish citizens via MitID
  • Governance patterns for autonomous agents — what to delegate, what to gate, what to log
  • The Human-in-the-loop story: when to ask, when to act, when to apologize
  • Helping Danish public-sector and enterprise customers move from Copilot demos to production

What I write about

  • Copilot Studio & AI agents — patterns, failure modes, the small details that decide whether an agent ships
  • Power Platform — licensing, API limits, governance, the things that bite you at scale
  • Dynamics 365 — sales models, data protection, team-member edge cases
  • Process design — the boring part that determines whether the technology actually helps

A few things about me

  • I’m based in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen. Most of my work is in Denmark, some across the Nordics.
  • I’m a STEM advocate. I think we should make engineering and computer science less intimidating for kids — especially the ones who don’t see themselves in the brochures.
  • I’m a lifelong learner. I assume I’m wrong about something important every week, and I treat that as good news.
  • I prefer frank conversations to polite ones. People who’ve worked with me will tell you I say what I think, and I expect the same back.
