Why the Power Platform conversation is changing

Power Platform Partner Day 2022: 7 best moves to make this quarter
- Pick one customer and run them through a Landing Zones deployment end to end. Use them as the case study for the next two pitches.
- Add the Center of Excellence Starter Kit to every assessment you do. It tells you within a day where the customer\’s tenant is leaking.
- Get one consultant the Recognized Solution Architect badge. The deal-shaping conversations get easier the moment you have one on the team.
- Stand up a recurring fusion-dev session inside the customer (pro dev plus one citizen maker, monthly). Use the Fusion development learning path as the spine.
- Pre-build a customer demo with the AAD User Virtual Table to remove the “we cannot see our own users” friction in workshops.
- Subscribe the practice to the Release planner so you stop being surprised by GA dates.
- Make every proposal a release-wave-aware proposal. If a feature lands in wave 2 it changes the design: say so.
Power Platform Partner Day 2022 vs the FY23 partner day six months later
I went back to Power Platform Partner Day in October 2022 with a different focus. The April 2022 day was about scale and platform hygiene (Landing Zones, fusion development, release wave discipline). The October partner day pivoted to “do more with less” and started the run-up to the Copilot wave that landed in Q1 2023.
